Chester Races Season – Chester is home to one of Britain’s oldest racecourses, and racing has been taking place here since 1539. Its calendar of events begins in May with the May Festival. You’ll get the opportunity to watch some of the most famous names in the sport, and have some fun whatever your age or preference. Various race fixtures take place throughout the summer, right up until the end of September.

The Siege of Chester – step back in history with a re-enactment of the last major battle of the English Civi War.
